My daughter was born 12/24 of last year. I can't believe how fast time is passing! I spend a lot of time making cards and scrapbooking and love love love paper and all kinds of embellishments. I was a huge participant on nervousness.org when it was going strong back in the day and love swaps. I also have participated in the Creative Postcard Club. Very fun.
Scrapbooking and cardmaking to name just two!
I love bling... I have a whole plastic baggie full of gemstones of all sizes. The shaped bling is my favorite but individual stones are great too. Basically anything that would look at home on the cover of a really old ancient magical book in a fantasy movie makes me happy. I would love some of the curly-q bling that's recently come out, I forget the line. I'm also lusting after brads with square jewels on them. Oh... and I can't wait to get my hands on some Fantasy Film to try making fairy wings.
I love stamps. I'm just starting to collect them. Background Stamps and nature stamps (flowers, trees, etc. not animals) are my recent focus. Tim Holtz alcohol inks are my newest favorite thing in the whole world and I do a ton of artwork with them. I mostly invest in items that I can use over and over again rather than in something like stickers that can be used once. (Confession: I'm a big big big fan of rub-ons... which can only be used once.)
I'm not really into cutesy and I definitely DON'T need any more baby stuff! I am well covered in that department.
Jewel tones! I love rich and royal colors. Blues, purples, and greens are my favorites but I can go for almost anything. Metallic papers are awesome. I'm not so crazy for pastels, but they definitely have their uses. Pink is okay--as long as it's not Pepto pink!
Fantasy Film (any color), brads with jewels on them, bling, things to alter using alcohol inks, almost anything Heidi Swapp, Tim Holtz embellishments are pretty awesome too (I'd love to get some of those word keys!), chipboard in non-standard shapes (swirls, frames, etc...), pretty ribbon and fibers,
