I feel weird writing about me, but here goes! I am a 50 something woman who feels much younger. How did I get here! My husband is a wonderful guy and we have raised two sons. Both my sons are out of the nest, so our kitty cat, Moony, is quite coddled. She is the Princess Kitty.

My husband calls me Bee, as he says I am always busy buzzing around doing something...but actually, a lot of the activities I enjoy involve sitting! These activities include quilting, both by machine and by hand, needlepoint, knitting, reading, and surfing the internet. It seems I need to always be doing something with my hands, even when sitting, so that categorizes me as busy, I suppose... It keeps me quite happy to have a project at hand when I am waiting for appointments, stuck in traffic, traveling (I usually am the only relatively happy person waiting for delayed flights), etc.

I also love to cook, and I am a fair weather gardener and wogger. Wogging is alternating walking with short burst of jogging. I only enjoy wogging while listening to music. My playlist for wogging includes an eclectic mix of rock and roll and rap. It is all about the beat matching my feet.

On a really good day, when my husband comes home from work, I will be cooking dinner, listening to music and he will walk into the kitchen, kiss me and we will burst into spontaneous dance. Neither of us has bad breathe on such a day and none of the food burns. Just a stirring of the soup, so to speak...he will go into our garden and water some plants and perhaps bring me some spice from our herb patch to add to our meal and then he will read the newspaper while I finish cooking. We will drink some wine. Later we might watch a show or movie and I can then do some hand work.

Decor wise, my eldest son jokes my color pallette is red wine and white wine. Actually, I prefer a simple background that supports interesting pattern, texture and color. That enables me to change things around.

Recently I began quilting again after a long hiatus. It is amazing to see how the internet and social media has enabled quilting to grow.

I do not have a blog any longer, nor a webpage. I do have Facebook, but limit my time spent on that site.

I love chocolate, essential oils, teas, and notions. It is probably easier to list dislikes than likes, as I like many different things! Pet peeves would be anything smoky and/or dirty, smutty or useless things. I like lemon, orange and herb scented things, but not raspberry, fruity scents.
