Hi everyone!

I am new here. I've been curious about this group for awhile and thought it was time to put my curiosity to rest.

A little about me: I live in Canada ( born and raised ), married to my high school sweetheart, a mother, a teacher, a little dog crazy, love coffee, a dreamer and love the concept of "Pay It Forward".

Love to read ! I have way too many books on my "to read pile" but just keep adding more! I'll read just about anything except for Sci Fi and some Fantasy.

I am an avid penpaller, love anything to do with snail mail ! Have a "slight" addiction to washi tape, stationery and stickers. Letter writing is one of my greatest joys and I adore my pen friends!

Another hobby of mine is art journals - enjoy being creative in this way. I am a member in a few groups and love seeing the work of others.

I love ladybugs, the rain, early mornings ( odd I know !! ), recipes, history, languages, quotes, and postcards ( B&W, fine art, whimsical, funny, with quotes vintage,bookish,postal themed, or illustrated -not a fan of destination postcards- ( touristy ). I prefer postcards written and not in an envelope.

My favourite shows to watch on TV are: Penny Dreadful , Call the Midwife, The Game of Thrones, The Blacklist, Scandel, Mordern Family and How to Get Away with Murder.

Love all kinds of music and I'm known to dance in my kitchen ( thankfully, my family is used to it !). I grew up ( thanks to my parents) listening to Elvis, Tom Jones, Dean Martin and Motown- still listen and enjoy! Also love 80's music!!

I have taken part in many swaps ( over the years) and have never let anyone down. I have been an "angel" in numerous swaps and happy to do so. One of my pet peeves : people who do not take swapping seriously and see it as a gain for themselves ( a real dislike of mine).
