About Me

28 years old woman from Denmark, living with her partner through 10 years. I recently had a son and therefore I am on maternity leave from my studies in information science and English at university. I will be returning there this spring. Hopefully to be done within a year and a half. My interests are reading, writing, crocheting, cooking and my family.

Favorite Music

I like everything from opera to heavy metal. Not much else to say there. :) My favourite opera is Rigoletto.

Favorite Books

I like the fantasy genre and just about everything else. Not crime and thriller though. Trudi Canavan's books are usually a hit and The English Patient is one of my all time favourites.

Favorite Movies

I like Goodbye Bafana, Strictly Ballroom LA Confidential and many more.... I have a very broad taste! :D

Favorite Crafts

I enjoy crocheting, painting, decorating and restoring old furniture.

At this point i crochet mostly. I usually crochet animals in cotton yarn. Or small purses, make up purses, dresses for small girls and stuff like that. As it is getting colder I have turned to wool and I am crocheting vests, trousers and warm socks for my little boy. I dislike multi coloured yarns in general as my style is more about simplicity. (except when it comes to buttons for some reason)

Stuff I like randomly

Colours: I like brown, gray, green, blue and bordeaux. Especially when it comes to decorating, crafts and my son's clothes.

My favourite food is Tex Mex and some traditional Danish courses. But I am generally quite open minded when it comes to food. I love sushi and would eat it every day if I could.

I love to cook and bake and is always looking for the next great recipe!

Socks, I love funny or special socks. Like hello kitty, disney, other figures, patterne and so on.

Computer games are fun. I used to have more time to play, but having a kid seriously cuts down on your "me" time. Not that I mind ;)

I also like animals. Grew up with dogs and cats and horseback riding. My boyfriend is allergic though, so we don't have any animals.... yet :D
