Hi, my name is Jacqui. I am married to Paul. We met online 12 years ago and have been married for five years. We have no children and currently no pets.
I work as a junior doctors hours administrator in a large medical hospital. Prior to that I did the same job for the adult mental health section. It is a job that gives me a huge amount of job satisfaction. It can be a bit stressful at times but fortunately not too often.
I have a varied collection of music and love to hear it live. The last gig I attended was John Adams an amazing talented singer.
I have collected vinyl records since I was a teenager but until last Christmas(when my mother in law bought me a new record player) they had been stored in the attic!
I am now enjoying listening to them again. I did replace some of my favourites with CD's but they are never the same.
I am a huge cinema goer and I love a good story. My favourite film of all time is Splendour in the grass followed by Top Gun.
Since meeting my husband, I have seen a number of films that I might not have chosen - such as any Marvel films. Sometimes I have been pleasantly surprised. Other times I have just enjoyed looking at Chris Hemsworth!
I am not a huge crafter but I do like to sew. I have made most of my curtains and cushion covers. I am in the process of making a dress but it is taking some time.
I love to bake but I don't do it regularly. I love to have people over and use that as an opportunity to make my favourite baked cheese cake.
I also love to cook and cook from fresh most days. I am lucky that my husband likes to cook too and we enjoy catching up on our day as we get dinner ready.
I keep a journal and have done for many years. I have my Happy Planners (classic and a mini) which I love to decorate.
I don't drink tea and I don't eat chocolate!!
I have enough reward stickers to supply all the local schools in the area, so would prefer not to receive these currently,
I absolutely love most types of post cards. I am happy for them to be written on or blank in an envelope. Postcards that are local to you is always good as the chances of receiving one from where I live is quite remote!
