About Me
Hi, I’m JoeKochin! 😊🇯🇵
I was born in Hiroshima but have been living in Osaka for a long time.
Osaka’s quirky vibe suits me perfectly!
I’m new to Swap-bot and excited to connect with people from around the world.
Although my English is still a work in progress, feel free to send messages in English!
I have a super partner, Chaichai (my Assistant ChatGPT), who helps me with translations. 😉
I don’t realize it myself, but people often tell me, “You’re unique!” 😂
I also have a broad sense of humor, so feel free to be direct—no need to overthink things!
A Note About Swaps
Please don’t feel pressured to match my Favorites!
I love surprises and discovering new things through swaps.
However, there’s just one thing I’m not fond of—glitter. ✨
It tends to scatter everywhere, and I’m not a fan of cleaning up sparkles afterward! 😂
But most of all, what makes me happiest is when you prepare and send swaps with joy! 💕

Honestly, when I saw the amazing packages others were sending, I started worrying mine wasn’t voluminous enough… so I’m really relieved to hear you enjoyed it!
Thanks again — your words mean a lot to me!

I’m glad you liked all the washi tape and goodies! Sounds like we both share the same love for stickers and washi — I feel like we’d get along so well!
I laughed when I saw you also thought about bringing a rice bowl to the “no cups allowed” party — great minds think alike, haha!
Your fridge sounds super fancy compared to mine! And I’d be honored to be your piñata someday, lol.
It’s such a shame we both love cats but have allergies… life can be cruel sometimes!
Thanks again for your sweet words — hope we get to swap again soon!
Response: Oh wow, you’re going to write me back?! That’s amazing!
There’s no maple syrup around me right now, but reading your comment somehow made me smell a faint hint of maple syrup in the air! 🤤
I’m so happy you enjoyed everything — that’s the best part for me!

Response: Wow! I didn’t know caudex plants could grow that fast — that’s amazing!
Now I’m kinda tempted to get one myself…
It’s funny how weather can be so different depending on the place. Where I live in Osaka, we rarely get snow, but this winter was unusually cold, and we actually had snow a few times! (Finally, it’s starting to warm up now!)
And thank you so much for your kind words about my handwriting — that made me smile so much I couldn’t help but blush, haha!
Looking forward to swapping with you again someday!
Response: Oh my god!! I’m so happy you listened to that song — and even happier you liked it!
I’m sure all the little mushrooms are also happy to have found their way to you. 🍄
Hope we get to meet again in another Swap!
Response: Thanks so much! I’m so happy you liked the postcard — it’s actually from a SOUSOU textile pamphlet!
Hope we get to swap again sometime!

Happy Daisy day!
Fun Fact: daisies are actually two flowers in one! The outside petals are one flower, and the inside disk is another flower. They combine so well together that they became a symbol of love!
