About Me

I'm taking a break from swapping for a while, maybe a long while. I haven't received several packages. I'm tired of the postal system. It's just discouraging. I had fun with dotees for a while and that's all for now. Jan I'm still checking for you:)

I live with my husband and my sweet black lab Jojo she's my baby! I am an art teacher, grades Pre-K through 8th grade. I love teaching art, I get to create art all day everyday, I can't imagine doing any other profession!

My students love when we do the unit on paper mache sculptures. They love making these larger than life works of art-they turn out awesome! My students work is posted on Artsonia website- check it out!

Favorite Crafts

This is a hard choice which is my favorite but I just discovered Dotee Dolls which I'm making now-love them!!! They are so addicting!!!

Prosculpt polymer clay babies, mini charms, I love making and collecting ATCs.

I draw all the time in my scketchbook for practice and for the fun of it!

I love to save my memories in scrapbooks!,

I do needle felting and have made several really cool guinea pigs, a few dolls, it's a lot of work but really fun to do! and many more-just about everything!

Being an art teacher I do everything, so my students can experience all areas and mediums of art so they can find what they truly love.

DOTEES I would love to receive or make: pirate, fruits-bannana, cherries, strawberry, lemon, lime. Rapunzel, Chesire Cat, any Snoopy themed dotee!!! any Koala themed dotee!!! M&M themed, Christmas tree, cupcake, icecream, coffee, I'm making a mirror face dotee, & a hardware dotee-will post pics on flickr when done. I have a lot of ideas for more dotees, will list more later.

Favorites

I love purple-can't get enough purple!!! Pink is second-I guess it's a girly thing-lol.

Love glitter!!! Shinny things. Love minis anything miniature little mini animals, erasers.

I LOVE SNOOPY-love Snoopy!!!! I've been collecting Snoopy stuff for 12 years!

I love black labs, and dog themed items.

I LOVE KOALA BEARS!!!!!! I have a small Koala bear collection.

I like Hello Kitty, I have a small collection.

Love little woodland animals like racoons, foxes, squirrels, chipmunks,deer, hedgehogs,anything cute! Love any fabric with these little creatures!

Love Vintage Christmas children & pet pictures-so cute! Little kids with kitties or puppies, they remind me of childhood around the tree on Christmas morning!

HATE-spiders! snakes, the color yellow or teal, no devil, no witchcraft! No smells-allergic, no candles!

I am a christian so religious things are welcome! My life is wonderful because of my faith!

Favorite Music

A lot of various types it's hard to say any one style. Def Leppard is my favorite rock band! I met them in Allentown PA at the State fair in 1998- it was awesome!

Favorite Television

Love reality shows! DIY shows of course. Comedy -laughter is the best medicine!

Favorite Books

I love Mysterys, and of course crafts books. Love my art magazine collection!

The second I got your parcel, I squealed with glee cause I knew it would be fab but your dotee was far beyond my expectations - she's absolutely amazing!!!!
