Hello.... My name is kat and I am a very happy single mum to a fantastic 6 year old girl. I currently run my own Art Studio that provides art activities for disadvantaged kids.

I absolutley love all types of crafts.In my spare time I love to make Art Dolls and Altered Boxes. I am an avid collector of vintage junk... especially old beads, buttons and fabric. I've just discovered the art of journals..and absolutely loving the results :0)

I dont really have that much time to watch T.V, but I do like shows like... "Most Haunted " ... "Jericho"..... "Torchwood" "Dr Who" and "Heros"

I currently love the British Music Scene .... bands like The Feeling and Artic Monkeys,the ting tings, Scouting for girls, amy winehouse, adle etc...

I love the colours Pink and Red. I love reading any kind of craft zine that I can get my hands on... My daughter loves anything to do with Hello Kitty and Japanese Anime. Lastly ... we both enjoy receiving little packages in the post and anything that is quirky and unusual is the perfect start to the day. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am not a big fan of the rating system ...anyone who makes the effort to make something for someone else is a star .... My joy in swapping comes from sending my partner a lovely piece of my creativity...it is not about receiving loads and loads of expensive store brought items in the post !

I currently have three outstanding swaps and two commitments to groups.... I recently started a new business involving children and art... the good news is that it has been a HUGE success .... I am currently working 15+ hours a day... the bad news is that my own hobbies and interests are badly suffering... I faithfully promise to fulfill my obligations to everyone ... I'm hoping to get a spare hour or two ...fingers crossed ... :0)
