I am married with 2 grown children. I live in Ottawa, Ontario. I love wine, dining and travel.

I like rock and roll, folk and blues. Some faves are: Bob Dylan, CSNY, James Taylor, Sting, Jackson Browne.

I like fiction, and one of my favourite authors is Diana Gabaldon.

I'm not a big TV watcher. We don't have cable TV, so mostly watch CTV, Global and TV Ontario. I like the following shows: CSI Miami and Grey's Anatomy

I love knitting. I learned to knit as a Brownie and I’ve been knitting ever since. I am a Master Knitter. I teach knitting on a volunteer basis, to kids at the local school and friends and their children. I am a budding designer, and recently launched my first pattern. I’m active in the local knitting scene, currently serving as the President of the Ottawa Knitting Guild. I also crochet, bead and sew, and love to combine these crafts together.

I like romantic comedies. I prefer to watch them at home on our TV. I love Groundhog Day and also The Way We Were.

I like the colour green. I have green stuff in almost every room in the house - green counters in the kitchen, green couch in the living room, green tub and counters in the bathroom and green duvet cover in the bedroom. I also like bright sunny yellow - every kitchen I have ever had, since my first apartment, has had yellow elements. I have a super yellow gooseneck faucet in the kitchen.
