I am a self taught crocheter and hitting the hook pretty hard in the last few years. I watch a LOT of youtube videos to learn new stitches and new things to make. I use Ravelry a lot as well. I am a mother of two beautiful kiddos, one daughter and one son. My daughter is 12 years older than my son. I am also the proud wife of a Army National Guard Soldier.
~I do NOT swap for my kids so please do not send me things for kids~ unless you are from cheers
I am an avid reader and love Karen Moning and J. R. Ward.
I will listen to just about anything but I prefer Christian music. Thousand Foot Krutch and Disciple are my two favorite bands.
I don't get to the movies to often and don't get to watch many at home. The kids or my husband usually have control of the TV.
I love my crochet but I also make rosaries, para-cord bracelets, dream catchers and origami.
granny squares (I'm trying to make an around the world blanket) ~ handmade washcloths ~ parad-cord bracelets ~ Postcards ~ Photographs of local landmarks print preferably color or b&w ~ Yarn~
Turtle stuff ~ Dia de los Muertos items (Day of the Dead) ~ Foreign coins ~ Foreign paper currency ~ Yarn ~ Photos ~ Skulls~
Items covered in pet hair ~ Items that smell like smoke ~ Items covered in perfume ~ sashay scarves ~ Neon colors ~ baby yarn ~ fashion yarn ~ fuzzy yarn ~ eyelash yarn
The colors I like change every so often. Right now I like earth tone colors. Especially greys, browns, greens and reds. Natural earth colors are so fascinating right now ^_^

Hello from Jean in Crazy For Cloths Group ! ! !
Thank you so much for being an angel for Not Your Granny Square #7 You are too sweet!
Thank you for joining 12" Non Traditional Granny Square!
Thank you so much for being an angel with the Fall bunting swap. It is absolutely beautiful. The colors are so rustic. It truly is a fall bunting with all the great colors coming together-ecru, rustic brown grey, gold and aqua with brown threads going through with it. You surely are an angel for going through all the extra time it tock to crochet it. Many thanks, Shirley
