21 year old girl who lives in a very, very wet part of the world, Loves reading, writing, but not arithmetic and enjoys sending random people heart-felt notes on any scrap of paper she can find to write on (literally)
Likes: Letters, postcards, notes, and mail of any kind, books, PINS, BUTTONS, and stickers, Japan, anime, and manga, crochet, yarn, fabric, making new friends, the rain, long walks on cool autumn days, good grammar, and hot cocoa
Dislikes: sadness and suffering, too hot weather, rudeness, and general un-nice-ness, scratched postcards, being sick, and making people cry
I've been crocheting ever since I can remember. I mostly make baby blankets for charity (women's shelters, currently) but I make prayer shawls, hats, and have recently been venturing out into jackets and sweaters. I have recently learn how to knit and am enjoying it very much!
I'm Koryu on Ravelry if you want to come find me and see terrible pictures of the projects I've done. XD
I also sew. My current project is a Tudor gown and a pair of pirate knickers. :P I love making period-esque costumes and if I had enough complete outfits made, I'd wear them all the time! I also do some rudimentary bead weaving.
Writing is also a craft I enjoy, though you wouldn't know it from these rather shallow profile entries.

I've been exchanging mail in one way or another for many years now so I'm not really a n00b when it comes to postal exchanges.
The typical letters I send read something like journal or diary entries. Writing is my outlet; my means of catharsis. I like to invite people to share their lives with me as I would want to share my life with them. Its a way to broaden my perspective and experience in life. I'm not creepy and definitely don't try and over share but if I've had a bad day that day, I'll tell you why and feel much better after I've done so. I feel deeply attached to every letter, postcard, package, I send out and I want the recipient to know that I've sent a little bit of my heart to them. I'm in this hobby to make people smile and feel cared for. There is so much sadness and suffering in the world that I do my best to alleviate it one postcard at a time.
On a less heavy note! You can also expect shiny stickers, quotes I think are cool, Irish blessings, and other completely random surprises. This is supposed to be fun and I try to have as much of it as possible!
I always send out my swaps but I can sometimes to absent minded and misplace things. If you haven't received a swap from me, just drop me a short PM and I'll get it fixed right away.
Happy Swapping Everyone!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Hope you have a wonderful day and wonderful year ahead :-)
Take Care, GT
Hello. I was just wondering if you have sent the postcard to me from the 'Postcard Swap'?
Yay! I'm glad you liked the letter! :D
And thanks about Andrew XD
I always wonder if someone is thinking what I was once told about him. I showed a friend a picture of him and he said: "That baby doesn't have a forehead... he has a FIVEHEAD" lol.
It's so funny cause it's true. :]
Anyways, hope that gave you a good giggle. It always does me.
Can't wait to hear from you :3
Hi Sarah
Really glad to see another person who keeps a postcard blog - I have visited it and left some comments. My postcard blog is called my REAL wall and can be found at www.myrealwall.com.
I too love writing and receiving letters and postcards and would love to get a journal-type page from you if you were up for swaps!
I only recently heard about ravelry too, and it's nice to finally read from your profile that you're on it. I would love to see some of your work. I find knitting really mindboggling. I just can't get my head around it, cos I've got a really short attention span. I couldn't do it myself, so am well impressed when people can.
Anyway, happy swapping, and hope to be in a swap with you soon
Andy "My profile is a little lonely"
Hiya, this is a message for the Lonely Swapbot profile swap.
I see you like quotes - I have a diary were I collect one a day, each day. I also have several pinned up by my desk at work. One of favourite people to turn to for quotes is Ralph Waldo Emerson and I found this one for you, which made me smile:
"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better."
It seemed to fit my mood perfectly right now! Not quite sure why.
I am so jealous of people who can crochet - I cannot seem to get the hang of it and quickly put it down in favour of something I find more easy. Naughty really, if I perservered maybe I would get there.
Anyway, I hope you have a really good day. Gini
Hi, I’m leaving you a message from The Netherlands as a contribution to the ‘My swap-bot profile is a little lonely’ swap. This is such a great swap! I’ve been reading your profile with great interest, you must be a very warm and friendly person, I never would have known that if it wasn’t for this swap. Crocheting is very relaxing to do, isn’t it? Well, it CAN be, if it works out the way you wanted :)The last few months I’ve been crocheting covers for bike seats, for my daughter and her friends. They came out real nice. I could send you the pattern if you like, it’s in Dutch but it shouldn’t be too hard to translate. Let me know and we work something out. That is: if you or anyone you know is in the possession of a bike…? Lots of love from another very wet part of the world!
Hi:) I just want to inform you that I sent postcard to you:) so i would be grateful if you let me know when you recive it:) have a great day:) .Kamila (Goldie)
You sound... like such an awesome person XD
I was so interested in your answers from the swap I just had to come check out your profile.
But uh.. I'm not stalking you or anything... -looks around nervously- :P
Anyways, if you'd like to write or anything, that might be fun :3
