Hello, I am Lacy, I am an art student working on my undergrad. I love making art and my mind never stops thinking about it. I am trying to focus on creating functional art, I love to use/make things that are both beautiful and useful. I live with my boyfriend who is studying forestry. We spend a lot of time outdoors together, he is very knowledgeable about nature and I love walking with him and having him teach me about trees and insects and all kinds of stuff.

I am a very natural person, I enjoy earth tones, natural blues and I love fall leave colors like rich oranges and dark reds. I have preference for organic shapes rather than geometric. I am new to the swap thing but I am an open person so if anyone has a question or suggestions about what I should put up about myself please let me know.

I do a lot of crafty things. A large portion of my time is spent knitting. I love to knit. I also do woodwork on large and small scales. I do some paper crafts. I draw all the time for class and pleasure. I dont get to paint as much as I would like to but my life is so hectic. I am taking intaglio printmaking this semester so I can add that to my list.

Books about art!!!!!! I collect books for inspiration purposes, I look through them when I am developing ideas or have a subject matter block. I also find that I paint a lot better after I look at the brushstrokes and style of other artist.

I like all kinds of movies. I dont have any cable TV so I watch a lot of movies, and a lot of the same ones over again.

I made up this little section to let everyone know about the people and pets in my life. I have first off a boyfriend who I live with, we have been together for 6 years. We are both college at WVU he studies Forestry. He likes video games, anything to do with nature and wildlife, fishing, woodworking and I know it must sound like we are the biggest red necks but I assure you he never wears Camouflage to public events. I also have a Chinchilla her name is Leah she is a little over 2 years old (but that doesn’t matter she is just as hyper as when we got her). I like to think that we saved her from the pet store that kept her in an aquarium. We let her out in the evenings before bed when we watch TV and she loves to run around, jump off the walls, chew on my hair and she easily goes back in her cage for a treat. She loves dried fruits, veggies and nuts (goes crazy over prunes).
