I am interested in collecting postcards. I have been collecting them on and off for a long time. :) Anywhere I went, I always bought them. Recently, I stumbled upon postcrossing and am absolutely loving it (my nick is LaraL on postcrossing.com)! I used to participate in all kinds of little swaps through yahoo groups long time ago, so I am excited to be a part of SwapBot!!

I collect UNESCO sites, map cards, cultural/people/national costumes cards, unusual views, cute animals, and cartoon/manga. Please, see my postcard collection blog. I prefer store-bought cards, and only would like some nice unique AD cards. No handmade or junkie free cards, unless it is in the rules of the swap, please.

I am in my 30s, married and have 2 little girls. We love crafting, Hello Kitty, Diddle, Disney, atc - kawaii things.

I LOVE reading! I read in 2 languages, as I am bilingual and I like all kinds of books. Our of my recent English books, I enjoyed Tracy Chevalier (can't wait for her new book!), Eva Ibbotson (read with my daughter), James Patterson, and am anxiously awaiting for "the Lost Symbol". :) On the RUssian side, I loved new Lukyanenko books, just finished the trilogy by Kazakov (Ya - mag!) and Oleg Roy. I try to stay on top of the new bestsellers, but they come slowly to the US sometimes.

A little here and there. My hubby is a huge Heavy Metal fan, so I hear a lot of it. I only like certain things. Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, some Offspring. I also like the much milder rock-n-roll, and listen to some variety always.

I have been into scrapbooking and deco FB-ing a while before. After my 2nd daughter was born, I haven't gone back yet. :) Although would like to do more of it now that she is older. We love doing all kinds of little crafts, write letters on pretty paper, organize out postcards (my girls collect them also!) into pretty albums, etc. Recently, we have been trying the altered book art.
