Hi Everyone, My name is Leah. I live close to Melbourne, Australia. I am a 41 year old wife (married to James) and Mother to 2 daughters (Anna -18 and Katherine - 14). I am a primary school teacher in a very small rural school; we only have 38 students! I teach grade 2,3 and 4. I have always enjoyed writing mail and I feel it is quite a dying art form these days; therefor, I would like to do my part and begin to swap snail mail with others from around the world. I am hoping to catch a glimpse of other peoples lives around the world as well as spreading some joy and happiness to others.

MY INTERESTS:

I love ALL travel - although i do not travel very often, I love to read travel blogs and watch you tube of other peoples experiences.

My animals - I have a dog, 2 cats, chooks and stick insects i keep in my classroom.

Music - I love all music and will listen to anything at all. My 2 daughters are in a concert band so we are surrounded by music. I have been listening yo the Abroad in Japan podcast in the car as I drive to work lately as well as the funny but naughty podcast My Dad Wrote a Porno.

Stationery - I am obsessed with all types of stationary. Melbourne has both a MUJI and a Dasio so I am a regular visitor to both. I love stickers of any kind also. I also love working in my Midori Travellers Notebook and I always looking for new inspiration.

Favourite colours- I love all cool tone colours but any shade of blue is my absolute favourite.

Craft- Although with my job, i don't have a lot of time, i enjoy dabbling in art, particulary using watercolours, although I am not very good. I enjoy all styles of paper craft.

Food- I am a vegetarian and enjoy both tea and coffee. I would love a tea collection to try from around the world.

Also, I love anything Japanese and nature related.. My home and classroom is full of indoor plants. I also love trashy reality shows such as The Bachelor, Below Deck and Southern Charm. It is mindless tv to relax to.
