I'm a 49 yo married woman with 2 adult daughters. My husband is a firefighter and an auctioneer and together we make a decent second income as antique dealers and have for the last 15 or so years with booths in antique malls and sales on ebay. Recently I opened an etsy store-livelovelavender-for a more creative relaxed alternative to ebay. I collect antique dolls, antique photos of kids with toys and other things, poem pictures, little houses and buildings, antique bisque miniatures, jewelry and so many other things. My favorite artists are Coles Phillips, Henry Darger, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Maxfield Parrish, & James McNeill Whistler to name a few. I hate reality tv and the fact that news shows report on it as if it was real. If they would report on True Blood and Nurse Jackie, it would be just as realistic and far more interesting. I love to travel and think that almost every place I've been is wonderful with few exceptions. Rome, London, Glasgow, Carmel, Cape Cod, Columbia River Gorge, San Francisco are some of the best, not necessarily in that order. I like to grow plants, especially herbs and cacti and flowers. I plant in whatever I find and every year add more porch plants. I collect a lot of American Art pottery and Ozark tourist pots. I love the internet and accept it as the one true religion, no sorry, not really, it is just a lot of fun, although it is full of a lot of crap.
I hate video games of any kind, but I do play online backgammon for hours on msn. I have a facebook and you can find me there, my profile is totally public, but facebook is a little lame. My main craft is crochet and I am currently obsessed with Amiguri and similar things. I would like to learn to embroider, that will be my summer project.

I listen mostly to 60s/70s on my mp3 player, but I am always listening to new music to find new favorites!
