I'm a college student, circus artist (just started working on German Wheel!), theater person (some acting, but mostly on the tech and directing sides now), and classical musician (primarily playing viola). I love anything relating to performing arts, especially in connection with learning and how people's minds work. Taking time to do small things with care and attention is important to me, especially when it is something that will make someone else's day brighter, and that's part of why I love crafts and why I'm now starting swap-bot.
I like going on adventures to new places with my friends, hiking, reading, exploring libraries, baking, learning new things, and teaching people things that are new to them.
I love knitting (both easy stuff to keep my hands occupied and complex stuff for a challenge), and I especially love knitting socks for myself and friends. I also love all sorts of papercraft. I'm not hugely artistically talented but I've done some digital art that I enjoyed a lot. I do awesome fancy braids and hairstyles for my friends and consider that a craft/art as well. And any new craft that I have the opportunity to try, I will.
Well, favorite books is just way too hard a question. I like most books and find all different sorts of reading interesting. Really the only things I don't like reading are romance novels and horror. I enjoy being in libraries and bookstores and anywhere with books way too much. And books with beautiful covers or jacket designs are just amazing. Basically, if it has to do with books, I will probably think it's awesome.
