Hello ! My name is Adrianne, I am a french canadian young lady. I live with my 2 cats, Smoothie (little boy) and Donut (little girl), and my ferret Drago. I love all of them!
I LOVE junk journals :) If you dont know what that is I recommend you look it up because it is amazing. What it basically means is I will be happy with any scrap of paper I receive! Napkins, buttons, fabric (I love fabric omg)
NOTE I will try to add what I get from all my swaps in my junk journals in some way and decorate it, so I would prefer the regular size postcards if possible not the big sizes or some giant cardboard haha please! ****
I love learning about different ways of life, different religions and languages. If you speak something other than English or French, I would LOVE to receive some words, or newpaper articles or children books etc! I am particularly in love with cultures from the Middle-East or northern Africa. I dream of visiting Petra someday!
Korea and Japan are also very high on my list of countries I want to visit.
I love all colors except orange.
I love reading cozy mysteries and I am a big fan of Agatha Christie and Ellie Alexander. I also love reading Historical romances.
PM me if you have any questions!!
I hope we can become friends xoxo

Book Quote - August
“Over time, Xan had started making certain preparations - a blanket woven of the softest lamb’s wool to wrap the child and keep it warm, a stack of cloths to freshen a wet bottom, a bottle or two of goat’s milk to fill an empty tummy. When the goat’s milk ran out (as it invariably did - the trek was long, and milk is heavy), Xan did what any sensible witch would do: once it was dark enough to see the stars, she reached up one hand and gathered starlight in her fingers, like the silken threads of spider’s webs, and fed it to the child. Starlight, as every witch knows, is marvelous food for a growing infant. Starlight collection takes a certain knack and talent (magic, for starters), but children eat it with gusto. They grow fat and sated and shining.”
