Latest revision 4/11/2023:
After taking a look at my profile I realized a lot has changed throughout the many years. I did edit some of it but thought I would do a little here too.
I have recently retired from my USPS career due to the long Covid effects. I am also on oxygen and tire easily. But being able to do swaps has made me feel better and I look forward to the mail each day. I have found that I love doing ATC’s and other items like that a lot. I am kept busy when not working on swaps with our two Great Danes that are 11 months old now. They are big and weigh over 125 each. We have recently got a motor home so we can take them with us when we go other places besides the camper. We take them to the camper that we have at a campground but this will be a whole new experience for us all. Pray for us lol.

A lot has happened in the last year. Of course the COVID nightmare with work being crazy. We were considered essential workers so life was very busy. Then around the first of 2022 I came down with double pneumonia, severely dehydration as well as kidney failure and of course COVID. I don’t remember most of anything the week before going to ER, just that I was sick. I was in the COVID ICU for almost a month. I was on a ventilator for over 17 days. My family wasn’t able to see me and I was actually out of it most the time.
From the hospital I had to go to a rehabilitation center because I had lost almost all my ability to do anything. My husband and family would come help me a lot but it was a long process. Therapy three hours a day for a month and a half. I finally got to go home.
It has been a very slow process to say the least. I am still on oxygen and probably always will be. I finally gave up getting to return to work after a year so I put in for early retirement.
Going through all this taught me that life is too short to take it for granted. Family is most important and make memories when you can. YOLO.
My big girl Maggie passed on recently. She was such a good girl and we love and miss her very much. We had got two GD pups before she passed and hoped she would be able to show them all her good ways. We see little things that they do that she always did. They are a mess. 😜

Well we did it. Got a camper and have begun our camping experience. We could never take Maggie so we wanted to include her. It has been fun getting our stuff for it. We have a spot that we leave it at year round. It is only about two hours away. Love being able to just take a few things and go when we want without the hassle of pulling it all over. Good times.

Well I am back after a short break. Had some health issues and just had a lot going on but I missed doing swaps. Hope to get back in the swing of things again and meet some new friends and maybe run across some of my old swappers. Happy swapping!

Hello from Missouri USA!
I have lived in Southeast Missouri all my life. I am a Christian and am married to a wonderful man and we share our home with our big girl Maggie ( a Great Dane) She is spoiled rotten and such a good girl. I have two wonderful grand kids that are at our house as often as they are home. We do so much together and love hanging out and traveling.
I work full time as a mail carrier and love my job. I see people get mail and packages and sometimes wonder if it is from something like swapbot. So I thought I would join and hopefully make new friends from all over the world.
Things I love.
Paper crafting. All kinds including ATC’s, ink box cards, handmade envelopes, handmade postcards, scrapbooking, cards, altered books, handmade folios and mini albums and more. I do a little acrylic painting and water colors. Making Christmas items.
Traveling. Would love to see Ireland and Scotland as well as Switzerland to name a few.
My Great Danes.
Flowers. My favorite is probably the iris.
Cooking. So feel free to share your recipes.
Spring, Fall and Winter. Summer not so much. Hate the heat and humidity and mosquitos.
Old movies and westerns. I love Cary Grant, Moreen Ohare, Doris Day and Jimmy Stewart and Clint Eastwood kind of movies when I want to relax. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is one of my favorites. Hallmark channel and DIY shows like "Fixer Upper" love Chip and Joanna! I do watch other stuff too though, like romantic comedies, suspense, sci-fi and such. Just don't care for the real scary ones. Cooking shows like Pioneer Woman.
Love old houses and vintage stuff. Antiques and Victorian era items. Our home is over 100 years old and I love all the woodwork and floors. It has a personality and craftsmanship you rarely see anymore. The attention to details is amazing.
Stamps!! I collect postage stamps from anywhere and everywhere. Vintage up to new.
Vintage postcards and greeting cards. Anything, but Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and Easter are my FAVORITE!
I collect vintage porcelain and bone china dog figurines. I have quite a few. Any breed but am searching for Great Danes.
I also have an addiction for old dishes and silverware. Especially old bowls with floral designs and Pyrex mixing bowls and stoneware crocks and bowls.
Crafts I enjoy.
I love paper crafting. Making ATC’s, cards, PC's, mini albums, pocket letters and holiday decorations to name a few.
Altered journals.
Painting in many forms from wood to canvas.
Found that I love making ATC's. So will be doing more.
Cross stitch. I don't do it as much as I used to but always loved it.
Love learning new crafts.
And I'm sure there is more I am forgetting. Lol

Hi I'm your partner for the Profile Swap #10 I'm not sure what happened as I did this on the weekend but none of them saved! I'm so sorry! Here is the quote I picked for this swap!
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” ― Brené Brown

“I am going to keep having fun every day I have left, because there is no other way of life. You just have to decide whether you are a Tigger or an Eeyore.” Randy Pausch
"Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten." Paraphrase from G.K.Chesterton
