I am a scientist by day and a sewer at night! I love quilting and making handmade stuff. I also enjoy reading a lot, and am a huge movie buff. I have been happily married for just about 4 years now, and have a beautiful 17 month old daughter.

For quilting and sewing, my favorite colors to work with include yellow and pink. Right now, I am working on a paper-pieced quilt for my daughter, which I call "Lovable Bugs". I would LOVE to receive any Fairy Frost fabric, as I can't get any here in Canada. The main colors in the quilt are green, purple, pink, and blue. I am also working on cross-stitched Winnie the Pooh pillows, as my daughter is a HUGE fan of the little yellow bear! I am all about homemade stuff, and have recently made a hand-smocked Xmas dress for my dear little daughter.

I'm a rock-alternative type of girl! That being said, I think Glee is the best soundtrack out there! Also, during work hours, I like to listen to audiobooks. I have listened to all kinds, from Harry Potter to Pride and Prejudice.

I am a Harry Potter and Twilight addict, and proud of it! ;) I love fantasy novels, but also like chic comedies like Confessions of a Shopaholic. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of Sookie Stackhouse!!!
