I am 52 years old, presently unemployed, and I am again facing the decision of what to be when I grow up. I have an amazing husband, two grown sons, a daughter-in-love, and two delightful granddaughters. I am also claimed by a spoiled kitty who reluctantly permits me to share her home.
My favorite music depends upon my mood. Contemporary Christian, classic rock, classical, Billy Joel, Fernando Ortega, Newsboys...
Favorite books...yes books are a favorite! As are magazines. I will read nearly anything and everything.
Favorite movies is a more difficult category. Fiddler on the Roof, the original Planet of the Apes movies, While You Were Sleeping, Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, The Lake House...
Television-don't have-don't watch-don't miss!
I am willing to try nearly any type of craft once. Beading and Jewelry making: I just began exploring all aspects of beading and jewelry making, and am definitely a newbie. Sewing: I am rediscovering the pleasures of sewing after a long hiatus. I have done all kinds in the past. Constructing all types of garments, altering and reconstructing ready-to-wear, many various crafts and household applications. Cross stitch and crochet: I have done both, but not for a few years. Painting and drawing: Also play at on occasion.
Flower and veggie gardening. Maybe someday I'll be willing to call myself a gardener. Cooking: I like to explore new ideas about eating and preparing whole foods. Currently I am baking whole grain breads, making granola and granola bars, making homemade vanilla and vanilla syrup (great in my lattes and French Press coffee). Coffee: I love to make French Press coffee and espresso from freshly ground organic coffee beans.
A general list, I couldn't possibly name everything I may like and enjoy!
coffee beans, tea bags, mints, Burt's Bees, beads-no plastic, anything beadwork related, paperback books, magazines, Fiestaware!
Also general, there's no way a list could possibly be conclusive!
cigarette/cigar smoke, artificial sweeteners, gum, country music, candles, animated characters.
