Dang! these things are hard to fill out-lol Pardon the lists plse.
I have been married 20 some years and have yet to kill the man. Some days I think about it and some days I am glad of the ole grouch's company. Our marriage is like that old favorite pair of shoes. They are real exciting but very comfortable :D
We have 2 girls-I call them my clones since they look nothing like the Hubby. They are 5yrs apart in age but are strangely quite close though the older one does way to much mothering of her little sister.
I used to work as a RN in surgery. It was the coolest job ever! Unfortunately all the heavy lifting and being on my feet all day aggravated a back injury I had sustained in earlier years and I had to have back surgery. My back didn't heal right so I ended up permanently disabled and on the pain management wheel of BS. I keep my license up but I don't practice anymore. I have a small hope that maybe someday I will be able to return to work.
I am a misplaced soul. I love snow and the change of seasons plus I hate hot weather but I live in the swamplands of SE TX.
I am a practicing pagan and I live in the Bible belt in a little town known for its hypocrisy. Both my girls also walk a pagan path by their own choice but their beliefs vary a bit from mine.
My best friend is also pagan- that's how I met her. Not long ago we started a soapmaking business up together. It is so nice to have someone like that who gets your craziness and to share ideas with. It has been an adventure!
Pagan music though I don't much care for the folk style ones. SJ Tucker is my favorite and Dragan Ritual Drummers is high on my wishlist. Classic and 80's rock. A little country some classic and various international types of music..I like meditation music particularly Indian flute or those with nature sounds. I pretty much like all music with the exceptions being heavy metal or stuff you would mosh to. I don't like stuff that is about guns or violence either. Some rap is okay but I don't care for the majority of it.
New Age books like Cunningham, Penzah, Anne Moura and Dorthy Morrison. Cassandra Eason is a favorite. I read a lot of book to further my spiritual path. Also books on Divination, crystals and herbs. For pleasure I like Paranormal fiction. Keri Arthur, Laurel k Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Mary Janice Davidson Patricia Briggs, Charliane Harris, JR Ward, Kerrilynn Sparks and the like. When not reading something spiritual or fun I am reading about soapmaking.
