Hi Swapper

Im Mike and I live in The Netherlands. I work in finance area. Im not so much of a traveller myself but I enjoy swapping with people all over the world.

Didnt know the swapping of postcards would be so much fun. Its soo addictive. I started my own blog about it. One of my goals is to collect a postcard sent to me from all countries in the world.

I like thrillers (eg Nicci French a few years ago) and historical novels.

Another interest I have is books about the recent history of The Netherlands (1800 - 1950). For example books from Dutch author Geert Mak. Latest book I read in this category was about the evolution of the Dutch sewer system.

Im not a real craftsman myself. However I found out about "Mail-art". Its a kind of craft I like. So maybe have to try that one day.

Postcards I like are city views, landscapes, buildings, churches, cathedrals, castles, regional costumes etc. Anything that can be linked to the country or place of sending.

I like my PC's handwritten and stamped with stamps of flora/fauna.
