UPDATE 4/2/2023: Baby came a week early on 3/17/2023! She's wonderful and we're over the moon. If I take a while to rate, it's because my hands a re a little full, lol

I've been an active snail-mailer since 2005 when I joined postcardx, and have been addicted ever since. I'm on sendsomething.net and postcrossing.com.

My favorite thing to do is to experience something new. That could be books, movies, or traveling. For my 30th birthday I went skydiving (among many other things, but that was the most memorable). I will try anything once!

I got married in 2021 and am expecting my first baby in March 2023.

****As of 3/7/2023: My ones and threes are from over 5 years ago. After coming back, I have reached out to all those who are still on swap-bot. There were 5 swaps missing, all have been re-sent: Two have changed their ratings (Magpie journal, Christmas Gift), and one other has been sent but not changed her rating (Tree ATC). The remainder are electronic swaps, which I have sent by both swap-bot message and by email. It would have been much easier to start a new profile from scratch, but I'm here to do the work, instead. Thank you.

Journaling and papercrafts. I love my bullet journal and anything I can put in it (if you have a favorite spread, end it my way!).

Sewing clothes and quilting! **It is my goal to make a quilt out of fabric from around the world, So if you'd like to send me fabric, anything from scraps to fat quarters or ANYthing would be appreciated!!!

Crochet and knit! I love vintage patterns and odd-type yarns. I really want to make an amigurumi, but I haven't done that yet.

Reading is my favorite. I love to read and would love to hear what you're reading now or what you think I should read. Really!

I really like fantasy, but lately have been reading contemporary fiction, thrillers, and non-fiction for my book club (social justice issues, usually).

Favorites:

-The Hobbit by JRR Tolkein (I actually collect different editions of the hobbit, I have 9 now)

-Wicked by Gregory Maguire, and his other novels

-Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver

-My favorite romance author is Stephanie Laurens

-The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman (or anything by her, really)

I'm not picky, and I'll love whatever you send. But if you'd like specifics:

Fabric! Scraps, fat quarters, whatever. Anything for my "Quilt Around the World"

Postcards - I love any postcard but especially unique/strange cards, adcards in other languages, or vintage (like, OLD. pre-1950). I prefer my postcards "naked," stamped, and written on.

I also really love stamps! Used or not, old or new. I have a binder I keep them all in.

Journal embellishments: stickers, washi tape, etc.

If you send blank notecards or postcards they will likely get sent or used to make something else, which is always fun.

Crochet/Knit patterns.
