I like to watch serials on Netflix. At the moment I watch series Al Lucifer, Death to me, Jane the Virgin. Actually I look pretty much everything though. My watchlist is therefore very extensive. Furthermore, I have been looking for 15 years to a Dutch soap series called "Goede tijden, sclechte tijden" (Good Times, bad times)
I also like watching movies. This is often a horror or a film that plays in the 2nd World War
I live in a small village in the Netherlands. In the province of Overijssel. Here I live together with my husband and 3 children (2 teens and 1 toddler) I work at the office of a construction company. I make sure that the construction is supplied at the right time with the right materials.
I have some pets. A dog and a cat. And quite a few fish. The dog is a Welsch corgi cardigan. She is called Bo and loves to cuddle. Bo find our toddler a bit less fun. The toddler find it very nice to sit in the basket of Bo. The cat called Ding, find Bo fun. They are often also comfortable sleeping together. Also thing find Mr. Toddler some less fun. Toddler wants to cuddle all the time but does not have so good control over his body so it is often too rough.
I used to do a lot of scrapbooking. This is due to time constraints which have been pushed into the background. With the arrival of the youngest and the fine afternoon sleeps which yielded me-time. It started to tickle again. For the youngest I am now working in his 2nd yearbook. The first one was a little brief in terms of decoration, but in the 2nd book I'm going to loose with the aanleding. For the oldest 2, I started working with back to create a scrapbook with highlights of the past years.
I also sew clothes for the youngest. Occasional sweater or T-shirt. The most fun thing to do is to make some old clothes that he can wear afterwards.
As if that's not enough hobbies, I also occasionally crochet a cover book or shawl. And I like to expireminteren with mixed media. I then use the successful parts again in the yearbooks for the children
There are periods in which I read very much. I suddenly read several books in succession, and then again months to look at them. This happens especially when I encounter a nice series of books. Recently I have had this with the books of the Seven Sisters. I have read part 1 through 4 in 2 weeks. I haven't started part 5 yet because I can't go on with another part.
I also like to read the books by Dan Brown. As soon as a book comes out of it, I also dive on the couch with a cup of tea to read it straight away.
I very much like nice little thingies. Things that don't take too much place and you can keep in a box.
