I have a degree in photography and I make my living as a sign maker for a co-operative grocery store.

I live with my boyfriend and cat (Squidwort). My boyfriend and I met online in Second Life. I never imagined I'd be involved in one of those 'and they lived happily ever after' sorts of stories! We seem to be doing just that, so far, aside from the real life issues of who's going to do the dishes and job and bill paying woes.

I love crafts that don't involve a lot of counting such as embroidery and patchwork.

I like to create my own patterns and designs whenever I'm able. I use Illustrator and my trusty Wacom tablet often because I am not a great drawer, and they give me the ability to erase with no consequences.

When I knit, I knit in straight lines and tend to make a lot of scarves.

I love to read, and my tastes are fairly omnivorous. Although, any mystery or drama set in England in the 1800's immediately has my interest.

Some of my favorite authors are Neal Stephenson, Stephen King, David Foster Wallace, Christopher Moore, Isaac Asimov, Philip Pullman, Margaret Atwood, Sherri Tepper, and lots and lots more.
