I am a stay at home mom to my wonderful daughter and son as well as caretaker of our 2 puppies and guinea pig... in all honesty, it is my dream job.
I'm interested in iris & rose gardening, canning, baking, embroidery, stamp & coin collecting, photography, furniture restoration, bird watching and grave rubbing.
I love art.
I love Prairie Dogs, Grackles, cloudy days and the smell of fresh dirt.
I prefer polka-dots to stripes and plaid to paisley.
All colors are beautiful, but lean toward the cooler side of the spectrum.
I'm not too into commercialism and really could care less as to what shoes are popular and what cartoon character is the cutest, but I can sing almost every jingle from the last 30 years that I have been exposed to.
History fascinates me as do the artifacts that go along with it. If something has a story, I want to hear it.
I'm a big fan of theological discussion, and while my beliefs tend toward Catholicism, I'm open to and fascinated by all faiths as truth can be found everywhere.
I am conservative, but also a big supporter of gay rights and true equality.
I prefer tea to coffee and like just about anything chocolate...
I like vintage stationary and design.
I'm a nerd at heart. I enjoy playing video games with my husband, D&D and Ren Faires. I prefer pixies to faeries, but consider myself more of a dwarf.
I love to travel and have a thing for roadside attractions (Worlds Largest Frying Pan, here I come!)
My favorite place in the world is France, I think I left a piece of my heart there...
I wish I could knit or crochet, but alas, it seems that craft is lost on me.
I love my husband, my daughter and our home and I believe that I am the luckiest girl in the world.
I'm a big fan of cozy type books... from mystery to chick-lit! My favorite author is Christopher Moore.
Jim Croce is my musical soul mate, but I also enjoy Simon & Garfunkel. My favorite songs though are Rainbow Connection by Kermit T. Frog and Vincent by Don McLean.
I am lucky to be married to a wonderful man who also enjoys Swap-bot. He goes by HoudinisHenchman and we have a tendency to occasionally sign up for the same swaps. So if, on the off chance, you happen to get both of us, we live together, so it is ok to save the postage and send them together!
