Hiya! My name is Courtney and I am currently studying English Literature at University. I have been in the penpalling community for 5ish years now and have decided to finally check out swap-bot! I am looking forward to getting involved with some swaps here :D

I have a mind that loves puzzles, tricks and riddles. I work at an escape room which I love, and I enjoy solving escape rooms too. i also like the escape packs/murder mysteries that can be sent by mail.

I always promise to rate as quickly as I can, and if you ever have a problem with a swap I send I am willing to correct it. Please, just drop me a message instead of rating down! I will do my best to resolve any issues.

I LOVE animals, I own a 9-year-old Irish cob called lulu, who is fully bay with a stripe down her nose and 4 white socks, She is my child, and I would do anything for her. Eventually, I want to get dogs, cats or rabbits, but that is a long way in the future.

I am a very spiritual person, I enjoy yoga, meditation, tarot and mindfulness and also lightly practice paganism and wicca. I am very open in hearing about other religions, as long as it isn’t preachy. I am especially interested in Hinduism and Buddhism.

I would say I am quite eccentric, I love all the oddities and curiousities, the stranger the better! I have no boundaries of what is sent to me other than what is outlined in my dislikes.

• I also love candles, and wax scented wax melts and will enjoy practically any scent. If I do not like it I can give it to my mother, who also loves candles.

Here are a list of themes/items that I don't particually like. Please try to avoid sending these just as it means I have to find someone else to like them.

• PINK Kawaii, I like anything else and I love totoro, moomin, keropi and kuromi.
• Religious (unless it's something like a pretty old church, or has importance historically, or is an interesting story/fact about a certain religion or personally to you unless it is preachy or to convert me. I like learning about religion but I am happy in my own beliefs now so nothing preachy)
• Girly
• Holiday Themed (Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc unless it’s a specified holiday swap)

I am vegan, please double check what you send is veggie friendly. A lot of sweets or foods have hidden beef gelatine or other animal products. This means do not send marshmallows or certain sweets without checking they do not contain animal gelatine. I do not eat any animal products, so please nothing with these ingredients.

Food I like Salty, savoury flavours, Flavours unique to your country (please check they are vegan Chocolate, I love dark and vegan milk, either plain or with nuts or salted caramel in. I love Hazelnut chocolate. Orange, peach or apple-flavoured drinks (or unique drinks), Coffee, Marzipan, Gummy sweets (veggie ofc), Marshmallows (once again veggie).

I am an absolute chocoholic, so chocolate is always welcome! I like all sorts of milk replacement chocolates (oat, coconut, soy etc)

I love biscoff flavoured things, vegan stroopwafels, vegan fake meat such as vegan jerky. I will eat most things as long as it is vegan I am not fussy.

Food I dislike Spicy things, I have a low spice tolerance, Overly meaty flavours, even if they are artificially flavoured, Salt and vinegar flavour, Very chewy sweets, Lemon flavoured snacks (unless it is lemon cake or cookies) orange flavoured gummy sweets, pineapple flavoured snacks, Raisins or most dried fruits

Tea Preferences I LOVE weird or unusual tea flavours if you have any. I also like sweet teas, blueberry, vanilla, chocolate, cakes, caramel, mint or anything red berry flavoured. I love also just the natural plant/herbal flavoured ones, the only tea flavours I do not like is earl gray, lemon or ginger.I am not that fond of green tea unless flavoured. My fave tea are the little moomin ones (especially blueberry muffin) but they are hard to find! I love masala chai and authentic indian chai, but if this is hard to find I enjoy other chai too.

I like decaf, but I am happy to have both as I drink tea in the morning and evening. But mainly at night which is why I have a preference to decaf. Open to both though.

If you are sending from the USA, I would love to receive David's tea as it is my fave brand but we do not have it in the UK.

I like being sent both loose teas and teas in packs.
