Hi - I'm new to swapping and just find it facinating. I'm in several swaps listed on my blog. I do have a flickr account and my username is nancygail.

I live in the beautiful Texas hill country in a suburb of Austin with my husband and sheltie, Lilly, in a 100 year old house that will never be finished! Just like this profile that I will probably need to shorten.

I do painting of all sorts, paper crafts, collage, kitchy sewing but I'm definitely not an accomplished seamstress.

I could listen to Van Morrison all day. My favorite song of all time - A Summer Place. Some of Lily Allen's songs, Nora Jones and movie soundtracks!

My favorite tv shows - Big Love, Lost, and Dexter. Love Meerkat Manor, too! It's like a cross between the Sopranos and the Brady Bunch! The Soup is so witty and smarmy it just cracks me up. My secret vice is cop/crime shows.

I'm a Stephen King fan, Anne Rice, Jean Auel. My favorite books - The Stand, Valley of the Horses and The Witching Hour.
