I am a mother and grandmother. I have crafted and painted all my life. I do not rate myself but really enjoy crafting. At the moment I like journaling and love water colour painting. I usually dabble in most things using You tube to help me. Since I retired I have spent most days in my art room. I was born in South Africa but left when my mother remarried to an English man. . I have a little dog who is 15 years old and is great company.I love gardening and have many faeries hiding in the shrubs, My grandchildren love to come across them when they visit. So I have to make sure they move between visits. So I love faeries but I also love witches, so halo ween is a great time for me. I have several witches hanging in my kitchen. I see them as protectors of my space. I used to make up stories for my garnd chuildren when they were small. butr they are grown out of them now. My favorite colors are pink and purple. I enjoy reading. Nora Roberts is new to me and I am enjoying her books. I spend time in my garden every day, especially now the weather is warmer. When I retired I spent some time visiting my daughter in Florida, love the weather there. Dislikes are harder to list. Politics, bigots and people who talk but dont listen. Ill give this more thought. My eye sight is not so good any more and I had to stop driving `, but the bus service is good here and last year I bought a motorised scooter so I am independent again. I love shopping, unfortunately we only have one craft shop locally so I use the internet to buy most craft things. My son who lives near me takes me on occasional craft shopping trips. I play whist weekly and visit with my neighbor most days. Oh nearly forgot one of my favorite things is jigsaw puzzles but this .is more a winter hobby. I love classical and country music. I watch some TV but no soaps. I prefer to read.
