I love to knit and crochet and spin. I am married to a wonderful man and we have a 21 y/o daughter and will soon have a granddaughter! Daughter, boyfriend, and soon Clover (granddaughter) live in an "apartment" (everything but a kitchen) attached to our house. We have 9 (yes, that's 9) cats, and a Gulf Coast box turtle on our side of the house and daughter has 2 Gecko's and 2 water turtles on her side. Yes, we love animals!

Knit, Crochet, Spin

I love most all colors; I'm not particularly fussy. I do tend to gravitate towards greens but for some reason it doesn't show up too much in my knits for myself. Gotta fix that, I guess. I like to use a variety of fibers; especially anything that knits up soft! I am relatively new to spinning; got my first wheel in August. I have found that BFL is easy to spin and ends up being very soft. I also enjoy spinning merino. I tried to spin some silk by itself and managed one spool before going nuts. Not ready for that yet, I guess. As for treats, my favorites are caramels, nuts, nugget; either in milk chocolate or not.
