Hi there, My name is Peter and I'm from The Hague in The Netherlands. I'm 37 years old and live happy together with my partner.
My town seats the Peace Palace, OPCW and International Criminal Court among other institutions. Besides the international community that is well represented here, The Hague is also seat of the Dutch national government and of our King and Queen.
I love swapping postcards and I've been doing so for years on postcrossing. I would love to reach other swappers so when I read about this site I quickly registered.
I focus mainly on postcards to swap. I like cards without envelope.
Amongst other things I am interested in beautiful males, LGBT, photography, skylines, vintage, technical/mechanical things, old towns/buildings, trains/trams, beautiful nature sites, close-ups/details, colorful cards, the Red Cross and colorful bright paintings. I do like different stamps but I'm not collecting anything specific, so please use what is suitable for you.
I do not enjoy religious cards (with the exception of historic buildings, I do enjoy those).
Looking for something to write on the card? Suggestions: -Offer me a view in your life and tell me what you've been doing just before sending the card. -What is your dream for over a year? -What strange thing makes you happy? -What famous person would you like to join swap-bot and why? -Do you volonteer at something? (sports club, church, NGO's etc.)
Please let me know if you are waiting on a card from me. I have a rather good idea of how long cards should travel. (Postcrossing offers many statistics to get a good understanding of travel times). I'll gladly send a new card if the travel time has expired.

Peter, thanks for hosting the swap Just a Postcard: A World Heritage Site and sending the card instead of my partner. Wij vinden ook de Amsterdamse kanalen, en de straten buiten de gebaande paden, geweldig om te bezoeken! Nogmaals dank!
