I am a working professional that does her true passion (costume design) on the side. More often than not my love of design suffers and is suppressed by the need to pay bills! I was looking for a portable creative outlet and I found ATC's! I've been doing this locally for about 6 month now but the swaps are few and far between so here I am!

Other than my artsy craftsy addictions I am 24 years old and live with a college friend. I am most often described as Martha Stewart and "mother" all rolled into one. I think that just makes me sound old. My family is German and French so I have this compulsive need to make sure everyone is fed. The whole "mother" is the result of me being too sensible (I think) for my own good. This means whenever someone is sick or in trouble I'm the nearest "mom" figure...

I am also considered somewhat of a nerd as I play video games and know a bit too much about computers than is good for me. Then again I like to research different topics in history for my own gratification as a hobby. Yeah, I'm a nerd.

I love to travel. I've been to several places abroad (France, Austria, Ireland to name a few) and all over the states. It's the one true benefit of having a family that has been scattered to the four winds.

Generals: Fave Colors: Dark Purple, then any jewel tone! Fave medium: pastels Fave season: Winter! Fave holiday: Christmas (I love giving the perfect gift to someone!)

I listen to almost anything: Dar Williams to ZZ Top, the London Philharmonic to The Police. Yay for diversity!

All Time Favorite: To Say Nothing Of The Dog Other Faves: Dragon Riders of Pern (Anne McCaffery), Robin Hobb (Author), Harry Potter, Sabriel (Garth Nix), Polgara (David and Leigh Eddings), Jane Austen Fave genres: Sci-fi/Fantasy, Historic Fiction.

Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth), Lord Of The Rings, Elizabeth, Persuasion, Harry Potter and more of the same.

House M.D. rocks my world. Close seconds: the orignal CSI with Grissom and (old school) M.A.S.H. Blood Ties and Moonlight are good too.

Clothing/costume making, research, drawing, needle crafts (cross stitching, embrodiery, knitting), ATC's!! Photography and colleting books... :-D
