About Me

I am from New Zealand but live in Australia for now, and am a nurse. I mostly read in my spare time, and am also slowly sorting out the 15,000 or so photos that I have from the last 40+ years, both digital and printed.

I really like fae, whimsical themes but am happy with anything (especially if it’s pretty 😂).

Not a fan of holiday themes such as Christmas, Halloween etc. Also not into religion or politics.

Favorite Books

I love fantasy (but not sci-fi) and historical fiction. My favourite authors are Juliet Marillier, Diana Gabaldon, and Patrick Rothfuss.

Comment: I've never been to Kenya either. As a matter of fact, I've never even been out of the USA, which makes me the perfect candidate for this swap. Thank you for the postcard. I wish my job required me to travel, like your sister's does.

Response: Yes, I have. In many different houses. I grew up in Upper Moutere, then went to Nelson College for Girls. I moved to Blenheim for a few years, and then back to Nelson before I moved to Australia for work several years ago. I love that you know which house I meant!

Comment: I loved the Lorikeet postcard and the postage stamps you used! Thank you for picking out something nice for me! I wish I had Lorikeets in my area here in Colorado, USA. I have 3 colorful parakeets, but I have to keep them inside in a large cage.
