some of my favorite music is by Neil Young, Van Morrison, Indigo Girls, John Hiatt, CSN. I like almost anything acoustic. I love, love, love American Idol - I readily admit it - I am hooked!
I am 49 years old, married with 3 kids. My oldest (age 22) is graduating from college in a couple weeks, middle just turned 20 yesterday and youngest is 14. I am new to swap-bot. I live in Minnesota (all my life). I love cats (except I'm not so keen on siamese - you never know what they're thinking). We have 2 house cats and 2 dogs. I love antiques. Not sure how in depth these are suppose to be so I will edit more as time goes by.
I love to read but don't really have a favorite author. I'll go in streaks with subject matter. Right now I'm into James Patterson, David Baldacci, John Grisham. Soon I'll throw in a Nora Roberts romance for a change of pace. I like Sylvia Browne and I love all Luann Rice books. My 2 books that I will re-read from time to time and have also given to friends as gifts are Sunsets by Constance O'Day-Flannery and Talk Before Sleep by Elizabeth Berg.
I like to watch mystery/suspense movies. Also watch American Idol faithfully. I like some sitcoms, Medium, Law & Order SVU. Not so much for the reality shows.
I like to try a lot of different crafts but none that involve any type of sewing. I just stumbled across artist trading cards by accident and have quickly become hooked. I've been working on them for the past 3 weeks but will have to stop soon as we are out of clean dishes and clean laundry. I have also been working on some items for a craft sale this fall. I made some fabric painted picture frames, wall plaques using old woodwork and variety of lettering and painted porcelaine plates for hostess gifts at christmas time. I like to scrapbook and have been working on a scrapbook of all our antiques so when they get passed on to our kids they can have the page that goes with the piece so they know the history of it.
