I am a mother of four grown children and two beautiful grand-daughters. I have lived all over the country and currently am back in Cali where I grew up.
A little over a year ago I was lucky enough to reconnect with a family friend from childhood whom I am madly, deeply and passionately in love with. Between us we have 9 children and I am loving every minute of it!!
I used to participate in package swaps and found it to be so much fun before the site shut down. I am super excited about finding swap-bot and can't wait to meet some new people and join in on the fun!
I have an extremely varied taste in music everything from classic country to Depeche Mode to some heavy metal....but not a huge rap fan, have to admit that.
OMG! Don't get me started.....lol A few of my favorites are the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, The Earth's Children series by Jean M. Auel, GWTW by Margret Mitchell, Watership Down by Richard Adams, anything by Truman Capote and so, so many more!!!
Wow....long list. My favorite movie of all time is Breakfast At Tiffany's. Some of my others are anything by John Hughes (I am a child of the 80's afterall), GWTW (although the book is so much better), Steel Magnolias, and the list goes on and on and on.......
Right now I am obsessed with Sons of Anarchy but I also love True Blood. Generally I enjoy most of the crime/cop shows...Criminal Minds, Law and Order, NCIS, etc.....
When it comes to crafts I consider myself a "Jane of all trades, master of none" which means I can do a little bit of just about anything. I tend to like quick, instant results kind of projects though. Most of my projects are gifts for friends and family along with things for my house. Just so you know I like to sew, cross-stitch, do paper crafts of all kinds, some painting, latch-hook, make paper, and a few other things that I haven't done in years!
"Life is not so short but that there is always time enough for courtesy." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
As a newbie I just want to say that I am adding all of my deadline dates to the calendar on my phone in order to make sure I don't forget anything!! ;)
