Reading is a passion; I like to read mystery novels, poetry and philosophy. I have been a member of Postcrossing for just over a year and adore it. I am not a terribly artsy-crafty person but I think I could crochet a granny square in a pinch.

I am a HUGE proponent of practicing random acts of kindness.

Each Christmas I volunteer with the Post Office and write letters to children on behalf of Santa.

I like rainbows, the color grey and coffee. My favorite mystery authors are Agatha Christie and D.L. Sayers.

I am always on the lookout for postcards, eagle anything, Renaissance art, stickers of all kinds, calligraphy, embroidery stuffz, cool stationary, and things that smell like Lavender, seeds for my garden (I have a HUGE garden and like playing in the dirt).

I am a gum chewer and absolutely adore "Black Cat Gum" which is very difficult to find nowadays.

I like Edwardian potpourri. As mentioned, I am not very craft, however, I enjoy doing the odd bit of embroidery and calligraphy (which are becoming exceedingly difficult to do because of arthritic thumbs).
