3/31/20: There was a rash of mail thefts in my area, so if you have not received your swap, please message me!! I will do my best to correct it/resend immediately. Happy swapping!
Hi!! I'm Milo, and I've fallen deeply in love with swaps and mail art! I am 21 years old and use he/him pronouns.
I work at an ice skating rink in the marketing department :D I'm wildly busy all the time, so snail mail is my relief at the end of a long day. I have several pen pals that I keep up very regularly, and we exchange extras- but I love swaps for the sake of swaps!
Please read my dislikes at the bottom of my profile. They include triggers.
I like books and writing with a lot of vivid imagery. I don’t read too much anymore, but I reread these constantly!
"I'll Give You the Sun" by Jandy Nelson
"Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets to the Universe" by Benjamin Alire Sáenz!
Queer literature in general has my heart, and I love a good romance, or any story with magic. YA novels never lost their glamour for me!
I also love poetry anthologies! Anything with vivid imagery is wonderful, and I also like Shakespeare :) My favorite poems are “The Eighth of September by Pablo Neruda, and “A Primer for the Small Weird Loves” by Richard Siken (tw for violence!).
I listen to a ton!! I’ll gladly take recommendations, and I could talk about them for ages :)
I don't watch as many movies or tv shows as I would like, because I never have the time, but anything with beautiful visuals is always awesome to watch! I'm very aesthetic-oriented.
Anything Ghibli! My favorite is "My Neighbor Totoro", it makes me so happy every time I watch it :D They're all indulgent movies, but I have so much Totoro stationery, and I'm always open to more!
"It's Such a Beautiful Day" is also really amazing, I think it's a really interesting way to use animation. I rewatch it every once in a while because it's so awesome!
I love all stationery!!! Memo pads, washi tapes, stickers, you name it! Some of my favorites are:*
Washi! I like layering washi in my collages/spreads, so I don’t like the waxy/thick ones too much- but I love any with pretty designs!
Botanical designs- especially things reminiscent of field guides and scientific illustrations. Kraft paper is also nice!
Lemons!! I like any watercolor-style fruit, really, but I adore lemons in any form, including dessert!
Really delicate designs and stickers - I love gentle aesthetics, and they're always so fun to combine with other things. I'll always take that over neons or harsh designs!
Grid designs!!! Any grid tapes and memo sheets, I love the design so much!
The moon and stars- I adore moon aesthetics, tarot, along with anything witch-related! I'm gathering my courage to start adding to that collection :D
My favorite color is pale blue, it’s always so calming :) I also really like yellow! It's so cheerful, I just painted my room yellow!
Decorated envelopes!! I have Informed Delivery, so every morning I get pictures of the mail I receive in the evening. Decorated mail keeps me excited all day to get my mail!! They make me so happy :)
Handmade items! I adore new stationery, but I love crafts and items that people put a lot of love into! Hand bound books, mini collages, folders, tags, stickers, everything!
Flipbooks!! I have so much fun building them, and it’s so sweet to receive them as well :D
Current collections! Right now I'm collecting fortunes from fortune cookies!! I LOVE them, they’re so lovely in collages. These would make me super happy!!!
I love any sort of journaling and collaging! I've absolutely fallen in love with ATCs, I've started that including them in all my pen pal letters :D
For stand-alone art, I do a lot of watercolor and liquid ink paintings, but I also do a lot of digital art. It's a good mix, but mostly two dimensional. I recently got a goache set that I’m excited to mess around with!
Reward and teacher items. I also have trouble fitting them into my collages.
Glittery items/loose glitter. Iridescent/shimmery things are fine, though!
Hello Kitty stickers and emoji stickers. That sounds like a weird request, but I have so many of both of these, it's ridiculous. I love hello kitty, but I have a limit, and apparently I've hit it!
Anything licorice flavored. It makes me really nauseous.
Confetti, charms, bling. I really only ever use flat items when I journal, I don't have the time to craft very often... I just don't use these items, and rarely enter swaps where I can pass them along.
Transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc. content. For obvious reasons. I try to keep it light!
Religious themed items. I have PTSD, this is a trigger.
America themed items. American flags, service themed items, anything related to it. This is also a trigger for me.
Because I'm always busy, I sometimes forget to rate when I receive my mail (because I open it away from my computer). I absolutely want to rate everyone, my memory is just terrible sometimes -_-'
If you sent me a swap and haven't been rated, feel free to reach out to me to ask me to rate!!

Thank you so much for angeling the space themed happy mail. It's wonderful! I really love the envelope, washi, and stickers. And I'm so sorry about your dog. I had a cat when I was a kid and she was everything to me. When she passed I was absolutely devastated. It's really the worst feeling. But I did give each of my kitties kisses for you. :)
Thank you so very much for all the profile tips and info. It was way above and beyond. <3
Thank you for a lovely swap.
