I have so many. Currently I am working on a latch hook t-shirt rug made from all my old Girl Scout T-shirts. I love anything to do with paper. I would like to get back to sewing, not clothes, but other stuff focusing on one yard or smaller, and I have been building my fabric stash. I have tons of beads, and beach stuff. I am working my way through my craft supplies to figure out just what I want to focus on. I put my Swappng on hold for a few years, had three moves in two years, downsized again and again and again from 3800 square feet to 1200. So I have limited crafting storage space. Started my own accounting consulting business.
I love pretty paper and little trinkets, charms, ribbons, pieces of fabric and such. I like to make little scrapbooks, and notebooks, and anything that can be done in an hour or two. I always bring a mini craft kit when I travel. Sometimes it's beading supplies, sometimes it's cross stitch.
Married for 30 years. 2 kids both married, I am a CPA/CMA - ie accountant by trade and started my own consulting business a year ago. I am a Lifetime Girl Scout and trainer adult volunteers to take their troops camping. I also am active in Kiwanis, and several location non profit organizations. I love anything to do with Disney and with travel. My favorite color is pink, followed by bright green and yellow (what a trio) With the new home I am looking towards decorating in a nautical theme, going with the tropical blues and greens, lots of beach accessories that I have collected over the years. I always bring home sand, shells and beach glass from the different beaches I visit. I am trying to go for more of a river, old fishing village style in the house - we are on a river, not a beach or lake. Hard to find related decorating stuff
Doctor Who, anything Marvel, and the DC shows on CW. I like a fun adventure show. I also like the Hallmark movies like Garage Sale Murder etc.
I love Children's and Young adult books - Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Eragon, Pollyanna, Anne of Green Gables. And Historical romance. With my kindle I am always looking for the free books and read a lot.
Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, Nestor Torres and Disney
I love Pink - pink is awesome. followed by a touch of yellow - so sunshine
Flamingos, Pink Pelicans, Roseate Spoonbills (see the trend?) Although Peacocks look pretty wonderful. My house has several paintings, prints, photos of Florida birds and animals and beaches and palm trees.
Things I like - Glittery shiny things Anything to put on a card or journal or small scrapbook Paper. All kinds List of favorite blogs Ribbon Scraps of fabric Tea, loose and bagged - but not the red tea Honey Jam and jelly Travel size craft stuff Embossing, I have a Cuttlebug I have a Cricut Explore Stamp ink Stamps Stamped paper I love the crafting tools Small scrapbook kits Beaded cross stitch Anything handmade - really, I started swap bot to learn new crafts - even if the swap says store bought, and you make it, I know I will prefer it. Handmade note or greeting cards Green Tea Cheery note Favorite quotes Girl Scout stuff Smelly Stuff - I like smelly stuff, husband doesn't so we agree to disagree. But we both like the smell of the tropics - coconut, pineapple, mango, plumeria - anything that makes your think of sitting on an island in the Caribbean (rum), for bath stuff - pretty much anything fruity or flower. Camping/Outdoor related
I have 2 planners - I know right? Why settle for just one. The one I carry with me is a Filofax 6 hole 3 3/4 x 6 3/4. This is where I keep my appointments and daily notes and the one for my desktop where I keep my lists and goals and big calendar and such is a dayrunner 7 hole 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 - I invested in hole punches for both. I just started using them this year, so I am still trying to figure out what works best for me - and I think what works is lots of fun colorful stuff, and duplication, and did you know that when I was little my 2nd favorite place to hang out (next to the craft store) was the office stationary store?
