About Me

Hi and thanks for swapping with me! I'm an empty nester living with my best friend and husband in St. Louis, MO. We've just moved here and are busy unpacking (still!) and getting to know the community which is very cool and very big!
I am an animal lover and dog rescuer with two little "fur children"; Rooty (a chocolate mini poodle) and Kira (a white Shitzu-Poodle.

Favorite Crafts

I am a big crafter, but especially love all things fiber; knitting, quilting and sewing, embroidery, cross stitch, felting. I am also a mixed media artist. Check out my blog for good info on my day to day life and my passion for upcycling.

Favorite Music

Anything except country, rap, or jazz. Especially love New Age - espeically flute - type of music that I can listen to while reading. Love classic rock, garage bands, and anything I play and dance to!

Favorite Books

I love to read craft books and cookbooks cover to cover!
Lately reading, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, The Help, and Hippocrite in a Pouffy White Dress

Favorite Movies

LOVE movies! Not a fan of violence - where more than 2 people die, or guts coming out, limbs cutting off, or puking. Love a good story, happy endings, feeling groovy. Don't want to have to come home and lie down and cry for an hour.
