Hey y'all,

So here is a little bit about me. I am 41, mother of 4, two boys and 2 girls, ages 9 to 23! I am also a grandmom to 2 wonderful boys, ages 6 and 3!

For the next 12 days I will be living in Las Vegas, NV, then my family and I are moving to Danville, VA. My older two kids are already living there so for the 3000 mile move it will be my 1 year old daughter, 9 year old son, the hubby, me, my german shepard, my pittie, and my cat! Should make for an interesting drive!! We have bought our first house, and well from 3000 miles away it has been a challenge.

My favorite hobby right now is knitting. I do a little every day, not only do I enjoy it, but it is also a form of therapy for me. Last June I was in a car accident that almost killed me. I was in ICU for a week with an active brain bleed, which left me with some brain damage and a lot of memory issues. But it also cause some damage that has left my left arm numb. I started knitting because I wanted to do something and relearned the skill despite the numbness, funny thing is the more I knit the more I get some feeling in my hand, it's not a lot but it's more than I was getting in physical therapy..So now I knit everyday. I am also a photographer, I am currently going to school to get my BS in media arts with photography as a specialty. I am hoping to create fine art photography and perhaps make a name for myself.

I am also a retired mechanic/medic for the Army. I love being able to work on my cars or fix my kids! I am not a typical girly type girl, my 15 year old teases me, that if I could apply make up with a wrench they I might wear some! I am far more happy in jeans and t-shirts than in a dress and make up!

Forgot to add that I collect bottle caps! I will stop and pick them up if I see them on the ground, they do not nee to be new or shiny, it's just a weird obsession of mine, I blame the video game series Fallout for this!

I love all kinds of music, my taste runs from country to hip hop to classical. I can not think of any music that I would refuse to listen to.
