About Me

I am married and have two grown daughters. I prepare Income taxes and am an accountant, so there are times I can't craft, but ..... I am a crafter at heart. I have been crafting since I was a child. I enjoy scrapbooking, stamping, but my favorite craft is making ATCs. I am not limited to these crafts and am always up for a challenge. I have just started participating in pocket letter and flipbook swaps and I really like making them!. Now I am going to attempt making a junk journal. .

Favorite Books

I have read many Anne Rice books and I have to say that she is my favorite author. I also like Stephen King. I also like re-reading the classics. I particularly like novels set in the Victorian age.

Favorite Television

I love television so there really isn't a show that I don't like. I love Game of Thrones, the Walking Dead, Taboo, Ray Donovan, Big Bang Theory and I watch a variety of old reruns. I like Netflix and many of their original series.

Favorite Things

My favorite color is purple-any shade I like animals, especially pigs and guinea pigs I have a pig collection.
I have 2 dogs, a house rabbit, 2 rescued pigeons and an African dwarf frog. I love stickers, paper, markers, colored pencils, embellishments, stampers, ribbons, and glitter. I like morbid to cutesy. I love dark and gothic style- vampire folklore and other dark oddities and I like cutesy things as well, even Kawaii style. I like surfing the internet for images, especially vintage (victorian, 20's to present).

Computer

I also like surfing the web and enjoy Pinterest. That is pure pleasure for me. I am on facebook and love playing virtual games. I play Words with Friends. .I think Swap-Bot is the greatest!!!!

Comment: Thank you for the pocket letter and being able to follow through with your swap obligation. Because this swap was late and I wasn't reached out to until 6 days after the swap deadline had passed, I am going to have to rate a 3. If the swap hostess didn't have to get involved, I might have been able to overlook this. I understand that "real" life and "play" don't always mix the way that we would love them to, but we have to keep in mind that there is a person attached to the other side of that computer screen and that they are putting in their time to send something great to their swap partner. They deserve the same respect from their swap partner as well. If something happens with life, contact your swap partner before the deadline has past...most people are reasonable.
Response: You are welcome. Swap to me isn't an obligation but a joy to do even if I can't perform like the rest of you. By the way, I see you had no opinion of the swap. I guess I was late and it was creepy.

It depicts a scene from John Keats's poem Isabella, or the Pot of Basil. The heroine, Isabella, is caressing the basil pot in which she had buried the severed head of her murdered lover Lorenzo.
