40 years old German scrapbooker, mailartist, wool and fabric addict who currently lives in the USA with my husband, two kids and the cats Miss Mimi and Mister Momo.
I am looking forward to have a lot of fun with a lot of interesting swaps and am looking forward to the one you will send to me. I do understand English, French and German.
I always, always, always send out my swaps. So in case you have not received anything please PM me. My swap might have get lost, might have taken longer than expected or might have lost its address label (I had that once or twice, fortunately the letter came back to me and I was able to resend it).
I pledge to rate. I have a list, tracking my received swaps carefully and the ratings I get, too. (I am German...I love lists...). So if I have not rated you I have not received your swap yet. I will try to communicate with you. Always!
I really have a lot of fun with everything fabric related. Especially 1930's repro and contemporary fabrics. I love polka dots, stars and stripes but tiny flowers are cute, too. I enjoy colors like red, green and light blue, light brown and yellow. Aqua and red is a great colour combo, too. I am a huge fan of Moda fabrics. But no batiks, please and please choose 100% cotton. No acrylics or acrylic blends. You can send scraps, too. But please at least 3"x3" in size.
I love scrapbooking, photography and art, too. Scrapbooking-wise I enjoy dies, stickers, labels and buttons. I love vintage Ephemera (old playing cards, childbook pages, library tags etc.). But there is a difference in between junk and vintage.
I collect fountain pens like Lamy AL-Stars and other brands. So I love inks for those as well as Stationery to put them into use. I love lettersets in bright colors and with fancy art. But please do not send single sheets without envelopes. I love notecards. Blank inside and with a cool design. Not so much into Thank you, Birthday or other sentiments.
For postcard-swaps: If you know some useless information I would be thrilled if you would share that with me on a postcard. I love vintage-style cards, postcards with picture book illustrations or with funky, colorful art on it. I do love maps on cards and cards with encouraging quotes in English, too. If a swap asks for blank tourist postcards I would be more than happy if you could substitute them with non-touristy ones. It just don't make any sense to me to have cards from places I have never been to. Only exception: Map Cards.
For Washi Swaps: I love vintage themes, orange is the color I have not a lot of, feathers, extra wide, flowers, stars, stripes, mail related (i. e. Stamps, airmail, pens...), ABCs, animals (especially foxes and birds), cities. Alain Gree.
I do knit (organic fibers, no acrylics or acrylic blends) and do embroidery (love Cosmo, DCM etc)
I am a Crossfit athlete and love this sport. It gives me lots of energy and strength. So everything related with Crossfit is well appreciated here, too.
I love the Italian cuisine. Love Indian food and classic American Kitchen. I would love to get more Vegetarian Recipes to incorporate them into our diet.
Purple and neon-colours are awful! I really don't like Kawaii, scary things or horror.
I cannot stand the smell of smoke. In case you smoke please write a Short Note in the outside of your envelope so I can handle that. And please don't send any magazine clippings or napkins. I have no use for them, sorry. Whole magazine pages with lovely, eye-catching graphics are fine though.
YUMMIE: I really love chocolate, biscuits and jellybabies. Coffee and juice is great. No tea please. I think curry is an extraordinary spice. Cherry-taste is really great as well as liquorice. Coconut and vanilla is nice to smell. Everything sour is well appreciated here, sweets-wise. I love indish and italian-food. No MSG here (see below).
BOOOH: How horrible is banana...urgs...I don't like to smell and to taste it gettinggossebumps Aniseed mints are horrible as well. Green tea isn't mine as well as fruit-tea combinations like plum-date-taste. I don't like strawberry. Coke and Sodas are terrible.
!!!:I am allergic to grapefruit and to monosodium glutamate (MSG) / Mononatriumglutamat (flavour enhancer) !!!
I wear black and white, red, blue and dark green. I only wear socks with stripes. I wear an US 8.5 and an EU 38 size -sockwise and a size L in clothes.
I lovelovelove ouchless hairbands.
Because I have really sensitive skin I prefere not to swap bath and beauty products. Neither for me nor for the family.
My children are nine and four years old. They are both boys.
We do not use plastic toys but love everything Waldorf and Montessori related.
We do like jigsaw-puzzle and love to craft (think of colour books, drawing etc), listen to music and audiobooks.
Please choose nothing Disney related.
The kids wear organic fabrics, cotton, real wool (no acrylic or acrylic blends), only. We prefer green over blue and love red and orange (the older one) and grey (the little one).
LittleL loves Harry Potter, the color orange, reading, Lego Ninjago, Matchbox Cars, Starwars, and fast cars. He is a car nerd and knows everything. He loves car related magazines and won’t mind getting gently used ones. He collects Disney Pixar Cars cars.
LittleO is an artist. He is drawing, scribbling and painting all day long. He loves pretend plays. He likes all things about firefighters. He plays with matchbox cars and he loves to cook in his children’s kitchen or work on his children’s workbench.
I always try to turn your swap items into something extra lovely. Therefore I read your profile closely and try to match all the items I send out with your likes. I always put a little extra in my swaps. Just because it makes me happy and hopefully you will love that, too.
Are you interested in a private swap? Awesome!
Shot me a DM and we can figure out if we can find something we both are happy to swap.
A wishlist? Here you are:

I don't miss any episode of the german telenovela "Rote Rosen" (red roses) and have a lot of fun watching TV series via Netflix (I.e. SOA, homeland, Mad Men, House of cards...). Beside of this I do not watch any television.

oooh! Our cats have the same name kind of! Our cats name is Schmidt, nicknamed Moodles or Mister Mister and my daughter calls him Momo ( from moodles I guess). I thought that was kind of a fun coincidence since it is not a very common name..I think!
