I like natural materials & recycle as much as possible even with crafting. I like strong colors like orange, bright red, dark violet, forest green, grass green. Glitter & plastic are a no-no for me.
Light and playful, like Ditty Bops or Puppini Sisters. I don't care for rock at all. But like african music and some old jazz.
I'm finnish thirtysomething, MA in philosophy and starting to study massage this autumn (´09) after a couple of years in book publishing industry, editing nonfiction books (mostly psychology) and also translating from english to finnish. I am married but have no kids (and also do no want to have them). I have volunteered a lot in environmental NGOs and have homed a couple of stray animals, both cats and dogs. I like animals and plants but don't care much for plastic, glitter or glamour. Things that matter for me: environment, aesthetic experience, tap dancing, meditation, gardening, animals, art... friendship. :)
What more... maybe I should tell that for all the decades I've read about I feel most at home at 1920s. Oh, those days!
Another period of interest is late victorian period,so the end of 19th century.
I do not know why but both archetypes, pictorial style and the thinkers of those periods just feel homey for me...
