When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me knitting or crocheting, reading, playing games, or starting yet another project while I already have nine in progress (please tell me I’m not the only one).

I love checking out a good restaurant, but I’m just as happy cooking in my own kitchen. I enjoy gardening and canning what I grow, and I take any chance I can to travel, even if it’s just a quick getaway. Thrift stores and yard sales are some of my favorite places to treasure hunt, and I’m always finding new creative projects to dive into.

I’m getting back into journaling, junk journaling especially feels like my kind of creative chaos. I also enjoy writing when I have the time. I’m joining swaps as a way to get back into writing by hand and using my brain in a different way. Most of my work involves typing, so I really miss the creativity and personal touch that comes with handwritten notes and letters.

I love meeting new people (some of my friendships have come from swaps!) and sharing ideas, happy mail, and even just a simple card.

Nature & animals: flowers, herb plants, butterflies, dogs, cats, fantasy animals, and small woodland creatures

Garden & nature aesthetics: garden-inspired art, nature themes, and I especially love little statues for garden beds or houseplants, as well as small planters and pots for flowers, or herbs

Fruits & vintage styles: strawberries and lemons in a vintage look

Whimsical & cozy vibes: Alice in Wonderland, fairy tales from all parts of the world, gnomes, mushrooms, cottage core aesthetics.

Artistic styles I love: steampunk art, vintage, shabby chic, Victorian-themed art and items

Photography styles: black-and-white photographs and trinkets made from them—I especially love the ones with added funny or clever quotes. Love a beautiful a scenic photo with bold nature colors

Interests: history, sci-fi, and fantasy (I’m happy anywhere in those worlds!)

Seasonal favorites: Love to move things into my space for the seasons, autumn and spring colors and themed items, winter vintage with a cozy touch.

Lifestyle interests: sustainability and homestead-related items. I love a good thrifted item that I can use in my life.

Colors: green (all shades except avocado), purple, black, silver, and blue.

Bookish everything: bookmarks, tags, classic children’s literature, and book-themed items—I’m always excited about anything reading-related

Drinks & cozy things: coffee first… then tea ☕ I also love teacups (the cuter or more unique, the better!)

Treats: dark chocolate

Ephemera Loves - I LOVE ephemera of all kinds, especially: Vintage travel and tourism ephemera Old maps. Vintage-style seed packets (art-based, not photo-based) Pages from old books. Words, quotes, and sayings. Steampunk, cottage core, and nature-themed pieces.

Cardmaking, scrapbooking, and journaling supplies (the more the better!) I love anything I can use to create, decorate, or add a personal touch to happy mail and journals. Stickers, washi, paper bits—you name it!

Crochet & knitting—my yarn stash is basically its own separate hobby at this point (RIP Joann’s 💔). I love trying new patterns and always have multiple projects going at once.

Writing—something I’m really trying to get back into. I don’t always have as much time as I’d like, but I enjoy putting pen to paper whenever I can.

Journaling & junk journaling—creative, a little chaotic, and perfect for using all the fun bits and pieces I collect.

Gardening—mostly growing food, which naturally leads into cooking for fun. I enjoy the slower, more creative kind of cooking when I have the time, not just the quick “get dinner on the table” meals during work nights.

Reading—I’ve been a reader for as long as I can remember and will pick up anything that sounds interesting. I truly don’t stick to just one genre—I like a little bit of everything!

I also read a lot of ARCs (advance reader copies) and leave honest reviews. I believe all forms of reading count—whether it’s an eBook, physical book, or audiobook..
