Hello! My name is Alisha. I recently moved from my home in the country to St. Louis. My two adult children live in STL and I wanted to be near them. I have zero regrets. I am married, I have a spoiled rotten Pomeranian named Marlowe, a cat named Baby and a bearded dragon named Boaz. After working 17 years as a paraprofessional in special education I am now a co-teacher at a preschool. I am always up for a game night and A quirk about me is that I am a natural speed reader.
If it is live and in concert I can listen to anything! If it is playing in my car or on my phone it's usually classic country ( Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson ) the stuff I grew up with, 80's pop..also music I grew up listening to, the hits of today, or rock/metal.
Reading is more than a hobby to me, its a passion. I am never without a book. I usually read at least 2-3 a week. I read romance books, I love them. I will read romantic suspense, romantic fantasy, paranormal romance, horror romance, and time travel romance. I will read comedy but it's not my favorite, however, I do not read historical romance.
I don't make it to the theater that often! Maybe 2 or 3 times a year. My favorite movies are still Labyrinth and Never Ending Story.
Just like with the movies, I don't watch much TV. I have a couple shows that I will binge watch when there is an new season..Top Chef and Master Chef. I also watch Sorted on youtube.
I enjoy journaling and junk journaling. I crochet, but I am still a newbie..so simple and quick projects. I love to DIY stuff but it can be hit or miss lol. I recently purchased an embroidery machine and I am learning how to use it. My husband has a laser printer and I like to give him ideas and sometimes he will accept them!
