Aprons, Screen printed T-s, Stamps, and Knitting. Lots and lots of sewing, the past two years I have handmade all my Christmas presents for my family and friends.
Three cups of Tea, Catcher in the Rye, Middlesex,Fugitives and Refugees, Strand, and Flags of our Fathers.
Harold and Maude, Stand by Me, Shawshank Redemption, Band of Brothers, Charlie Bartlett, Mean Creek, and Rushmore.
My favorite colors are browns and greens, earth tones are always good. I took a fibers analysis class last year and since then I really don't like to use synthetic materials, the exception being yarns like Brown Sheep which uses 95% wool and 5% synthetic to give it a little stretch. As far as fabric goes I mostly use 100% cotton or wool.
Hi! I am a 20 year-old who recently moved back to the Portland area after starting a degree in Apparel Design. I currently work full time ( I'm trying to save money to pay for art school next year) but I look forward to the weekends when I get to spend as much time as I want in my basement studio sewing and doing stamps or screen printing.
