I grew up on the Oregon coast and I have lived here all of my life. I am what you call "coastal-ized" ...sideways rain & temperamental weather are the norm here. I am a proud Native American mother of two stubborn, but amazing children. I have a weird sense of humor that not everyone always understands. I am an introvert and I find my zen by getting lost in a good book.

I have collected postcards off and on for three decades. I found Postcrossing.com 6 years ago and I renewed my love of the hobby. I am in several Postcard groups on Facebook. I co-founded a Postcard swap group as well. I have made some great friends along the way, and I hope to make many more.

Besides collecting/trading postcards, I have a great love of photography. I am constantly taking photographs.

I also enjoy scrapbooking. I have more paper than I know what to do with. I like to make and decorate my own envelopes. I am not skillfully creative, but I have fun doing it.

I am an avid reader, post-apocalyptic has been my go to lately. I am currently making my first attempt at penning my own novel. It may not ever see the light of day, but I'm having a great time writing it.

I love to travel and see new places. I have not been able to venture outside of Oregon often, so I hope to travel more someday.

I love the outdoors. I would rather be camping than in the city - my family goes camping several times during the summer. There's nothing better than sitting out underneath the stars far away from the city lights.

I love washi tape, decorative tape, stickers, die-cuts, colorful paper/envelopes and other craft items. I enjoy interesting stamps and postmarks. I love to receive envelopes and cards that are decorated.

My favorite colors are black & pink. I also have a fondness for zebra stripes. ;)

I am an admin for this group of 100+ mostly Postcrossing and Swap-Bot participants on Facebook. We exchange all kinds of postcards with people from all over the United States. Chat about postcards, your collection, and postcard hunting.

Members may randomly send postcards to other members, offer postcards on the group wall, play postcard tag, and participate in organized group swaps. The Golden Rule – mail a postcard in return, if someone sends you one. USA addresses only.

My all time favorite show is The Walking Dead. I also enjoy Saving Hope, and Criminal Minds.

I admittedly love Hallmark movies. At the same time I love movies like Aliens, Battleship, Avatar, Harry Potter series, Fast & Furious series, and old black and white movies.

I like it all. My love of music grew when I learned to play the Bb Clarinet, it gave me a greater appreciation of the different types of music out there.

I do not send my swaps immediately. I like to visit profiles to get to know my swap partners. I do however send by the deadline.
