Hello and Welcome to my profile.
If I am your partner for a swap, thank you for reading my profile to see my likes & interests.
Whatever the reason that brought you to this page, I hope you have good health and happiness. If not, may you know the connections in your life and feel the love that surrounds you. Peace.
creative, have many artistic interests, and enjoy doing a variety of mixed media & paper crafts
life-long learner, love to read, explore, travel, and try new things
being in nature and near water (lakes, oceans, waterfalls, rivers, etc) refreshes me and my soul
married, no kids, several nieces & nephews
have one cat and appreciate all animals (supports zoos & programs that focus on conservation, rehabilitation, education, and sustainability)
enjoy spending time with family & friends, playing board & card games, exploring National Parks & collecting NP cancellation stamps, earning Quest Scout points & badges, browsing through antique stores, and hanging out in libraries & bookstores.
Playing cards: It's fun to see the different designs and special packs, especially those that have images or decorated fronts (different colored or design face cards, fun pips on the number cards, pictures or images on the number cards, etc). I like all suits & cards and tend to prefer A of spades, all 5's, all Queens, and unique Jokers. I am willing to do private swaps for playing cards.
My first name is AmyMarie (all one word with NO spaces, 2nd M is capitalized).
Preferred pronouns: she/her.
Please no religious items.
I am very sensitive to several scents including tobacco smoke and perfumes. Please keep anything you are sending me away from perfumes and other artificially scented things.
I am allergic to several foods. Please do NOT send foods or beverages (including tea).

Welcome to “Wax Seals & Dried Flowers Enthusiasts”!
Ooo, Quest Scouts looks like fun!! I'm going to have to dig through the site more and find a quest I can tackle!
Glad you enjoyed the Dear Doctor mailart! That mailbox rubber stamp is decades old. I think it was 100 Proof Press but I use it so much the company name isn’t visible anymore.
I'm so envious that you have been to a recent Carrie Newcomer concert - I saw her once but it was many years ago. Will have to pay attention to her schedule once concerts start up again.
I first discovered Mrs Pollifax in 1992! My husband and I even listened to some of the stories as books on cassette while commuting, and more recently I've listened to some as CD. One of the later ones in the series has an interview with the author at the end of the CD, and it was interesting to listen to in light of knowledge that she suffered from dementia later in life. I read an article once saying that some later Agatha Christie works may show evidence of dementia (something to do with word choice, or word length?) and wondered if they would find the same thing if they studied Dorothy Gilman.
I didn't know there was a Mrs Pollifax movie; i will have to track it down!
I was a member of questscouts!!! still follow them on instagram! LOVE their quest and love that its like scouting in that you can earn badges!
