Hi! I'm Melissa. I'm 28 years old and live in North Carolina. I work as a Registered Nurse and have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 2 years now. We have our "baby", a 3.5 pound chihuahua named Savannah. If a dog can be spoiled, She is! I wish I could knit. I've tried several times and failed miserably. I've recently became very interested in cooking. I'm getting pretty good at it, but still am trying to find new things to make. It's kind of hard when you have a picky husband! I prefer the mountains over the beach and am lucky to live in a state where there are both. I am very tender hearted and deep down wish I could save the world. I love doing things for others and honestly like buying things for others more than myself. I am very girly. I like to dress up and go out, but I like vegging on the couch better. I listen to music when I'm doing just about anything. Shopping is my therapy. I love sweets, and love baking them even more. I quit smoking 4 years ago before nursing school and am so happy I did. I'm proud of my accomplishments, my faith is unwavering, and I always try to learn from my mistakes. I'm so excited to join swap-bot because even though I really enjoy sending out packages and little goodies, I'm looking forward to getting happy mail from others like me!
