I am a 37 year old Christian, married to a retired Air Force man. We have 3 young boys - 2, 5, and 8 years old. I get the blessing of staying home with my boys each day. We enjoy homeschooling together. I also enjoy quilting, scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting and cake decorating. I am looking to get into embroidery and have done some beading.
I look forward to swapping and sharing!
Christian, country, celtic, and classical are my favorite types of music.
I love to read Amish fiction, and Christian fiction. I also enjoy parenting books and anything about Sensory Processing Disorder. One more thing - I really like the Divergent series.
My all time favorite movies are Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Ever After, Anne of Green Gables and Little Woman. I can watch these over and over again. I've recently watched Divergent and really enjoyed that too.
We watch all things Dr. Who, Heartland, Switched at Birth, Downton Abbey, NCIS, and Gilmore Girls.
Scrapbooking, Quilting, Crocheting, Knitting and a little bit of beading. I'm going to start getting into embroidery for quilting also.
The other thing I've recently discovered are Zentangles.
My favorite colors are Yellow and green - all shades. I love sunflowers and daisies and that is what I decorate my kitchen with along with ivy. Our living room is done in black, deep, purple, and dusty rose. Our bedroom is done in soft yellows and blues. My craft studio is done is reds, greens and tan/off white with sunflowers and daisies. I'm not really into a lot of ruffles but I do really like scrolls and lace to a point. lol
As far as scents go, I like vanilla and honeydew the most. I prefer light and clean smells.
I am currently trying to change my eating habits and lose weight so please don't send too many sweets at all except gum. Unless it's really good chocolate.
I do not eat pork products of any kind.
I do enjoy dried fruits and pecans or almonds.
I really enjoy a good chai tea and honey chamomile tea.

I see you have not been on in a few weeks and did not send your swap for the Monthly Dishcloth: Green. I am sure you received your green dishcloth from your partner. If you come back to Swap Bot hopefully you will take care of this. Time and effort goes into these swaps.
Happy Easter!

Hi Annie, I just now saw your comment on my profile. I am glad you're enjoying the group so much and we're also so glad you decided to join us.
WELCOME TO THE GROUP!
Hi, Thank you for joining Friendlies :) I am looking forward getting to know you in the group.
Hi Annie, I'm your swap partner for the stuffed envelope swap, and I can't wait to send you an envelope full of good stuff. I also love sunflowers and daisies. In my favorite movie, You've Got Mail, Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) says, "Aren't daisies the friendliest flower?!" I would have to agree. We are the same age, which is fun, and I look forward to getting to know you better. Hope you are having a good weekend.
Welcome to Swap-bot! And it's great to have you in the Newbie Pen Pal Swap. :) - If you have any questions please feel free to contact me - haha my inbox is always open. ~Rebekah
